Dr. Tridip Das is a distinguished postdoctoral fellow and staff scientist at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), specializing in quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics simulations to design novel materials for sustainable solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, an M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Jadavpur University. With a strong background in materials design, Dr. Das has worked at Intel Corporation and the Toyota Research Institute. He is also passionate about teaching and mentoring, having served as a course instructor and contributed to outreach programs. His contributions to both academia and industry make him a key figure in advancing sustainable materials science.
